Our Story

Donnie’s Tavern is a hospitality-driven, full-service restaurant set in the historic town of Zoar, Ohio just south of Canton, Ohio. Our menus rely on small, local farm involvement within the Tuscarawas and Stark counties. Sustainable along with domestic seafood winthin the Great Lakes region and east coast US. Our a focus on craft cooking, small batch spirits and beer, and a ranging cocktail program and wine list, our aim is to be the standard-bearer for dining in the region.

Opened in 2019 in remembrance of our late son Donovan (Donnie) as a place he would be proud of to hang out with his brother’s and teammates. Losing him was a huge loss and we felt it was important to tell his story through food, cooking and his place. For Kelly Hospitality, we have continually evolved to our current iteration that we feel best serves our guests, our team, and our community along with letting everyone know how special Donovan was and still is to us.  Our team of professionals strive to deliver the best guest experience through relaxed, but high-end dining, involving elite food, drink, and service shrouded with quintessential hospitality.

We look to highlight and extend our shared culture of food, friends, family in our service to a great community and our great environment in Zoar, Ohio.
